piano Lessons

Piano lessons are a great way to keep our minds active, increase hand strength, and decrease stress to promote relaxation. They also are just FUN! 

These lessons are offered on zoom, are private lessons, 30 minutes in length, and designed just for you! During a regular lesson, you can expect a lesson assignment that we will go through together, basic music theory & technique, along with a couple of laughs I’m sure!!  

In your free meet and greet we will discuss lesson procedures, available dates & times,  cost, and policy, and see if I’m a good fit for you. So, what are you waiting for form sign up for your FREE meet & greet now!  

Equipment Needed: a keyboard or piano, webcam, computer or tablet (phones don’t work as well but can be used), and a good internet connection. You’ll receive 40 lessons in a 12-month period plus a performance & workshop class for free! (That’s really 42 classes for the price of 40).  The fee of $125 will be the same each month whether you have 2, 3, 4, or 5 lessons that month.

Singing lessons are also a great way to keep our minds active, increase breathing strength, decrease stress, and are a fabulous way to express yourself. They are so freeing and FUN! 

These lessons are offered on zoom, are private lessons, 30 minutes in length, and designed just for you! During a regular lesson you can expect a lesson assignment (youtube video links are a great way to practice, that we will go through together, vocal warm-ups, and learn basic vocal techniques.

Equipment Needed: a webcam, a computer or tablet, a separate device to play the music you will sing to, a good mic (your webcam may work just fine), and a good internet connection. You’ll receive 40 lessons in a 12-month period plus a performance & workshop class for free! (That’s really 42 classes for the price of 40).  The fee of $125 will be the same each month whether you have 2, 3, 4, or 5 lessons that month.  Please read Lesson Policy by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.

Senior Lessons

Senior lessons can be taken in piano or voice…even both! Seniors 65 yrs. and older have the option to take lessons with a buddy to lower costs. These lessons are 30 minutes long, private lessons, and at the same/time each week.  Please see above for the equipment needed for which lesson type you choose. 

 You’ll receive 40 lessons in a 12-month period plus a performance & workshop class for free! (That’s really 42 classes for the price of 40). The fee for senior lessons is $62.50 per month (with 2 students).  Don’t know how to set up for lessons?

Lessons are offered on a weekly basis and are 30 minutes long.  I charge a fixed monthly fee regardless of the amount of lessons you have in a month. Over the course of 12 months you will receive 40 lessons,  1 free performance, and 1 free workshop. (if you want to participate). The price is $125 a month. $62.50 for seniors (2 students in class).

You will be responsible for the cost of any equipment you need to take online lessons as well as the purchase of books needed for lessons.

Make up lessons are not guaranteed. If you have to miss a lesson please contact me 24 hours in advance, and you will be  enlagability for a guided off-line lesson posted at your regularly scheduled time. Please click link below to read lesson policy below.

Yes. It is better to still come to lessons even if life got in the way to be able to practice. Remember there are no guaranteed make-up lessons, and there are no refunds.

I ask that you please notify me a week before you are going to stop lessons. The month you have already paid for will finish out and you will not be invoiced for the next month. Sorry I am not able to pro-rate the month if you stop in the middle of the month. That fee will be lost.

Good news! The student portal will have helpful hints & videos to help you out. I also use flibgrid online lessons that you can send messages, video examples of your playing, and I willl check this once a day sometime during my office hours. Please check lesson policy below.

These lessons are for you and are designed with your goals in mind. You can have fun learning new things!

You can either stop lessons, try to find another senior to take lessons with you, or temporarily do every-other-week lessons until a partner is found. (This can only be a temporary thing).
